A tip is money you send a creator because you want to. It buys nothing, and that is the point — it is a thank-you, not a transaction.
How
Tip in the bot. The amount comes off your wallet balance, so top up first if it is empty.
Why there is a minimum
Below a certain amount the payment fee is bigger than the tip, and almost nothing reaches the creator. The bot shows the current minimum.
What a tip does not do
It does not add you to a channel and it does not extend a subscription. If you want access, buy the subscription — a large tip will not open a door, and the creator has no way to open it for you afterwards either.
Does the creator know it was me?
They see that a tip arrived and from which account. If you would rather they did not, do not tip — there is no anonymous mode, and pretending otherwise would be a lie.
