Tips

A tip is money someone sends you for nothing in return. It is the simplest thing on the platform and the one that needs the least setup.

Switching it on

Under your channel, turn on Accept tips. That is the whole configuration.

Where the money goes

Into the same balance as everything else, and out with the same monthly payout. Your share is the same 50%.

Why there is a minimum

Below a certain amount the payment fee is larger than the tip, so nothing useful reaches either of us. The bot shows the current minimum when someone tips.

A tip is not access

Tipping does not add anyone to a channel and does not extend a subscription. If someone tips you expecting access, tell them — the bot will not have let them in, and they will assume it did.

Saying thank you

You can see who tipped under Sales. A short reply in the channel costs you nothing and is the single most reliable way to get a second tip.
