Connecting a Telegram channel

A channel is a private Telegram channel your subscribers get access to. You create it in Telegram and connect it here — or you let us create it for you, which is one button.

Option A — a channel you already have

  1. In Telegram, add our bot to the channel and make it an administrator.
  2. Come back to Channels. The channel shows up by itself — you do not have to type anything in.
  3. Set a price and you are selling.

Your existing members stay members. Only new arrivals go through the paywall.

Option B — let us create it

Choose Also create my public and private channel and we make both, add the bot, and hand them to you. You stay the owner.

Why the bot needs to be an admin

Adding and removing members is an admin action in Telegram. Without those rights the bot can take a payment but cannot let the person in — which is the one thing that must never happen.

If the bot loses its rights, the panel warns you on the channel. Give them back and the warning disappears by itself.

Public and private

A public channel has no paywall: anyone can read it, and it is where you advertise. A private channel is the one people pay for. Most creators run both and post a teaser in the public one.

Removing a channel

Disconnecting a channel takes it out of your store and the bot leaves. It does not delete the channel — a bot cannot delete a Telegram channel. Only you can do that, in the Telegram app.
